Some coastlines make the most sense from above.
Flying over Chalock Bay, I was struck by how everything seemed to fit together. The granite boulders, the narrow stretch of sand, the trees reaching right to the shoreline, and the changing shades of blue beneath the surface all felt connected in a way you don't notice from the ground.
That's one of the reasons I keep coming back to aerial photography. It isn't about getting higher, it's about seeing a place differently. From above, the coastline becomes less about individual details and more about the way nature arranges everything without trying too hard.
This photograph was captured over Chalock Bay on Koh Tao, where the landscape quietly tells its own story. It's a perspective that reminds me to slow down, look a little longer, and appreciate the patterns that are easy to miss when you're standing in the middle of them.
